AGORA Community School - Buildings and rooms

The HPC AGORA Gemeinschaftsschule in Heidelberg offers innovative learning environments that are tailored to the needs of modern education.

Learning studio---1

Learning office: individualised work on learning path lists

In the learning office, pupils put their acquired knowledge into practice.

Individually customised learning path lists enable them to work independently on their tasks, deepen their knowledge and develop their own questions. This not only promotes understanding, but also the development of self-directed learning strategies.

AGORA---2

AGORA: Self-directed learning in groups or alone

Our third room, the AGORA, creates a space for independent learning. Here, pupils can work independently on their tasks, either in groups or on their own, depending on their preferences and tasks.

AGORA promotes the development of teamwork, self-organisation and strengthens the independence of learners.

We focus on the individual development of each student. We endeavour to provide an environment that encourages diversity of learning and supports our students in becoming confident, competent and creative thinkers.

Input room---3

Input room: Differentiated learning in 20 minutes

In the input room, pupils receive valuable information in short, concise inputs.

This is presented in a differentiated way at three levels in small groups to ensure that each pupil can grasp the material at their individual level of knowledge.
